Serenity Reininger

Serenity Reininger is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) at Southlake Counseling. She obtained her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University in 2024, and her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Pfeiffer University in 2020.

Serenity believes the relationship between the client and therapist is an essential and impactful part of therapy. She enjoys discovering ways to authentically connect with her clients as she is genuinely interested in what goes on in each of their lives. Whether she is working with individuals, couples, or families, she strives to create a setting that ensures that every client has an opportunity to be seen and feel heard. She provides both an individualized and collaborative approach, which allows therapy to be tailored to the needs of each client. She works with clients to identify their internal strengths and resources which can then be used to support change. She incorporates warmth, compassion, and humor while also utilizing techniques associated with DBT, CBT, SFBT, and Gottman skills. Some of her caseload includes thirteen and older, adults, couples, and families.

In her free time, Serenity enjoys spending time with her family, taking the dogs for walks, working out, relaxing, and finding new places to eat.
