Jenny Shumaker

Jenny is graduate level intern act University of the Cumberlands pursuing her Master of Arts degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling. She also holds a bachelors degree in Sociology from Miami University. During her internship at Southlake Counseling, Jenny would likes to work with adults and adolescents presenting with concerns related to life transitions, relationship struggles, stress, anxiety, trauma, chronic pain, or issues with self-image and self-worth. She believes in providing clients with an atmosphere of safety, and meeting each person with empathy, patience, and compassion, to help empower them as they embark on the transformative process of counseling.
