Angelika Kudla
MS, LCMHCA, NCC, CRC
Angelika Kudla, MS, LCMHCA, is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from West Virginia University in 2024. She also holds a Bachelor of Science from Loyola University Chicago, where she double-majored in Behavioral & Cognitive Neuroscience and Psychology.
During her clinical training, Angelika provided individual and group therapy within intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs. She worked with college-aged individuals and adults, applying evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. Her clinical focus includes treating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, stress, addictions, and life transitions. She has a special passion for working with individuals with disabilities and offers vocational counseling and career exploration. She is also certified for NCC and CRC.
In addition to her clinical work, Angelika has extensive experience in research focused on improving outcomes for individuals with disabilities. She coordinated several large-scale projects investigating mental health services, job accommodations, and the challenges individuals with disabilities face in accessing care. These roles strengthened her understanding of disability identity and the importance of providing inclusive, person-centered care.
As the daughter of Polish immigrants, Angelika brings a deep appreciation for cultural identity and the complexities of navigating diverse life experiences. Fluent in Polish, she offers bilingual support and integrates cultural competence into her therapeutic approach.
Angelika views therapy as a collaborative process in which clients are the experts of their own experiences. She works to empower individuals by tailoring interventions to meet their needs, fostering personal insight and building resilience.
When she isn’t working, Angelika enjoys spending time with family and friends, engaging in outdoor activities, reading fantasy books, and exploring new therapeutic methods to enhance her practice.
