Madelyn Miller
MA, LCMHC-A, NCC
Hi, I’m Madelyn! I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and National Certified Counselor with a passion for walking alongside people through life’s challenges and transitions. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, a Bachelor’s in Sociology from Western Carolina University, and a special education certification from East Carolina University. Before becoming a counselor, I spent almost 10 years teaching special education, which taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, and meeting people where they are.
As a mom of seven, I truly understand the ups, downs, and messy in-betweens of parenting and juggling life’s many hats. My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative. I believe that a strong relationship between counselor and client is the foundation for growth, and I tailor every session to your unique needs, strengths, and goals.
I work with children, teens, and adults on a variety of concerns—anxiety, depression, grief, parenting struggles, and big life changes. My counseling internship with a hospice organization gave me deep insight into supporting individuals and families through loss. I’m also foundationally trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which provides practical tools for managing emotions, building healthier relationships, and creating a more balanced life.
