Toni Mason

Toni Mason is a licensed clinical mental health counselor associate (LCMHCA) at Southlake Counseling. In 2023, she received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as well as a graduate certificate in Gerontology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communication from East Carolina University in 2017. Toni enjoys working individuals, couples and families of all backgrounds who are working through life transitions, depression, anxiety, cultural diversity issues, substance-related family conflict and grief. Her specialties include older adults (60+), veterans, domestic violence survivors, couples and folx in LGBTQIA+ community (including polyamory/ethical non-monogamy).

Toni operates primarily from a CBT perspective but frequently integrates dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) skills as well as Gottman Method techniques. Past clients would describe her approach to therapy as gentle but direct. When away from the office, Toni enjoys reading fantasy novels, going to the movies, traveling the world and going to concerts with friends.
