How does it work?

This support group includes eight 90-minute sessions that include a shared experience, activities, coping skills, mindfulness, meditation, reflection, resources, and processing of issues.

We will focus on a new theme each week and come together in a safe and inviting environment to support one another with the daily stresses and struggles of motherhood. We will complete an intention, do a mindfulness activity, learn a coping skill that will support you in your daily life, and share what we have learned giving each other helpful tips and resources.

This program will enhance your sense of belonging as a parent, improve your well-being, and give you a designated time and space where you can take a break from your busy schedule and take a break from the demands of work, errands, school, children, parents, finances, due dates – all the things that contribute to overwhelm as a mother.

Group attendees can expect to address and work on the following topic areas throughout the course:

  • Parenting
  • Relationships
  • Emotions & Wise Mind
  • Stress & Crisis
  • Finding Balance
  • Reclaiming Inner Strength & Power
  • Career & Accomplishments
  • Acceptance
