Millie

Millie is an American Pitbull Terrier rescue and is one of our therapy dogs. She partners with Apiffany Gaither, LCMHC doing animal-assisted therapy for teens and adults. Although Millie had a rough first year in life, she is a great example of how the right environment with the best support can help her thrive. Millie has the biggest smile (and the best ears) and loves to greet her friends with one of her many lamb chop stuffies at the beginning of sessions. She is always sporting a pair of fun pajamas to lighten the mood. Millie loves treats and to play with her toys. Millie has completed the Canine Good Citizen training and Apiffany has completed animal-assisted therapy training.

Outside of the office, Millie spends time playing with her fur siblings and sunbathing in the backyard. She likes hiking, standup paddle boarding, and meeting every new friend she can.
