Cecelia Carney

Cece Carney is a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA). She is a graduate of University of North Carolina at Charlotte, receiving a Master of Social Work in 2025. Previously, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ithaca College in 2023. Cece has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. During her graduate program, Cece completed a 10 month internship in a clinical setting, working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Cece also has experience working in private practice with school age children as well as young adults. She has worked with clients to address symptoms of anxiety and depression, trauma, personality disorders, and any challenges that they are experiencing. Cece is passionate about taking a client centered approach and creating a supportive space for their healing and growing. Cece often utilizes aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness when working with clients and helping them achieve their goals. When Cece is not working she enjoys going on runs, reading, doing yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
