Devin Gladney

Devin (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) in North Carolina. She earned her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University. For her undergrad experience she received her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in studio art. Devin is passionate about creating a safe space where clients can feel empowered, experience growth and increase their sense of well-being. Her approach to counseling is one of collaboration with the client. She enjoys working with children and adolescents who are navigating issues such as depression, neurodiversity, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, LBGTQ+, identity issues and eating disorders. Devin operates from a person-centered approach and incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),  Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). When working with children she primarily uses Play Therapy,  Art Therapy and SFT. Devin recognizes the unique experience of each individual’s journey and meets clients where they are at. Devin strives to create a nonjudgemental, empathetic and safe atmosphere for self-exploration and healing. In her free time, Devin likes spending time with friends and family, making art, trying new things, cooking and being in nature.
