Individualized • Intensive • Effective
At The Southlake Center, we take eating disorders recovery as seriously as you do. We know what it is like to face the devastation caused by an eating disorder. We understand how it feels to commit to doing the hard work of recovery. Most importantly, we are committed to partnering with you to help you achieve and even exceed your specific recovery, health, and wellness goals.
Three Levels of Care
We offer you three levels of eating disorders recovery care—Standard Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Extended Day (EDP). We are also pleased to provide a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) track for both our Standard Outpatient and IOP eating disorders programs.
Therapeutic Group Support
While you are under our care, we will also provide you with a wide variety of eating disorders and specialty group support options available to you on an as-needed basis while you are participating in any of our eating disorders programs.
Comprehensive
Whether you come to us for help with overcoming anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, eating disorders not otherwise specified, body image disturbances, or other disordered eating concerns, we have a program to address your specific concerns and guide you to achieve your recovery goals.
Family-Based
One of the many aspects that make each of our programs truly unique is our emphasis on the importance of family support, and whenever appropriate your care will include a family-based approach.
Age-Appropriate
We also recognize the significant role peer support can play in your recovery process, and for this reason we provide two distinct eating disorders program tracks for both our traditional and DBT-based programs—ADOLESCENT and ADULT. We also are pleased and proud to offer the award-winning and clinically-proven SHAPEDOWN Child & Adolescent Obesity Program.
Life-Transforming & Restoring
Most importantly, when you choose The Southlake Center for your eating disorders recovery needs, you will graduate with newfound confidence, new friendships, and continued access to peer-level and professional support resources to ensure your recovery triumph lasts….and grows!
